to take a meaningful part in overcoming the company’s challenges while maintaining a professional work methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services and systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues (including senior engineers) and internal customers on technical challenges, feature design, and architecture.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, proposing efficient and maintainable solutions.
- Apply best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software.
- Stay current with new technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field (or comparable experience).
- 2+ years of backend or system development experience (flexible for strong candidates with slightly less or more).
- Proficiency in Python.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to explain technical topics to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating on end-to-end features (from initial requirements to testing and deployment).
Advantages:
- Experience in CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible).
- Familiarity with Linux OS (Ubuntu).
- Experience in docker and k8s.
- Experience working with messaging queues (e.g., RabbitMQ) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Familiarity with additional modern programming languages and interest in expanding into it (E.G. C++, JS, Bash)
