Prisma Photonics, a fast-growing startup, transforms infrastructure monitoring with optical fibers. We eliminate the need for extra sensors by offering sensor-free solutions to monitor electrical power grids and oil & gas pipelines across thousands of kilometers.
Our fiber-sensing technology, integrated with AI and machine learning, enables our customers to achieve environmental and renewable energy targets, ensuring smooth utility operations on their path to net-zero emissions.
We are looking for the best minds and spirits to join us in our journey. We know our product is only as great as the individuals building the hardware and software and harnessing data for worthy causes. Being a great team member means being eager to learn and grow, able to challenge and accept being challenged, and working for the team and the product with enthusiasm and passion.
The Head of Application holds a unique and complete technological overview over the entire
company’s product portfolio. Your expertise starts from the understanding of the underlying physics behind the operation of the optical system, via the seismological and acoustical manifestation of the “real-world” signals of interest in the sensing data, through the virtues of the classical and AI-based algorithmic processes that analyze the data, to the end-user alerts and data views that embody the value proposition of the system to the different customers.
The Head of Application is required to be a “MacGyver”: you take existing products, tools and assets, and create new ways to use those, inventing new use-cases showing value to new customers in new markets. You pioneer POCs, pilots and experiments, data collection and data analysis to distill and present the customer value.
The Head of Application reports to Prisma Photonics VP Product.
