Responsibilities:

R&D work in Lab and simulation to develop state of the art distributed fiber optic sensors. Support and improve current products and develop their next generations. Have a deep theoretical understanding to develop models and simulations in the field of distributed fiber optic sensors. Experimental Work to prove new concepts, develop innovative solutions for new products, and support current generations. Work in multidisciplinary teams, in Physics team, and individually. Develop code/tools (Python/MATLAB/C++) for Lab tests and simulations. Collaboration with multidisciplinary R&D teams and projects. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleges.

Requirements:
  • MSc or PhD in Physics/Applied Physics/related fields with focus on Electro-Optics and
  • fiber optics (e.g., Electrical & Optical Eng.)
  • Experienced in Electro-optics (Fiber Optics systems and components: Optical Fibers, Opt. Amp., Lasers, detectors, Modulators, DWDM) for >4 years.
  • Experienced in Lab work and Theory/simulation (min 5 years)
  • Experienced in R&D work in Industry for >4 years
  • High level Programing in Phyton/MATLAB/C ++ & knowledge of signal processing
  • Strong communication skills and excellent individual & teamwork. Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with advanced optical measurement techniques and systems – Preferred
  • System Eng. capabilities and experience – preferred
