We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Operations and Support Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for leading our newly formed L2 Software Operations and Support team, driving process improvements, managing software operations, and supporting customer and manufacturing environments. Your team will focus on system monitoring, automated deployments, configuration management, and support case resolutions, ensuring the smooth operation of our cutting-edge fiber sensing solutions.
▪ Support Process Handling, Definition & Improvement: Lead the response to operational incidents on customer machines and associated practices. Ensure efficient handling of system failures, crashes, deployments, and updates. Collaborate with NOC, customer improve overall operational efficiency.
▪ Root Cause Analysis & Troubleshooting: Lead root cause analysis of recurring support cases and ensure permanent fixes are applied. Collaborate with engineering teams on bug fixes when necessary.
▪ Automation & Tools Development: Oversee the development of automation tools for:
o System monitoring and observability.
o Configuration and inventory management.
o Automated deployment tools.
o Internal tools such as system calibration and ATP automation.
o Configuration management tech pages for edge units.
o CI/CD pipelines configuration and maintenance.

Requirements:
▪ experience: 8+ years in software operations or technical support, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team management role.
▪ Technical experience: Strong experience in software operations, automation, CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring, and configuration management tools.
▪ Programming: Highly proficient in modern programming languages – Python Must.
▪ Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and solve complex technical issues.
▪ Collaboration: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work across departments and with external partners.
▪ On-premise domain expertise: Experience in working with complex on-premise systems, edge devices and on-premise data centers.
▪ Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
